Abstract

This report focuses on the requirements for millimeter-wave filter arrays in current millimeter-wave communication applications and introduces a filter design method based on LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) cavity-like structures. By utilizing these cavity-like structures within LTCC substrates, the integration of filter arrays can be achieved. The presentation will demonstrate a mm-wave phased array antenna integrated with the embedded filter arrays, which meets the challenging specifications. Through the integration of filters, a unified design of the filters and antenna array is accomplished, enabling miniaturization and integration of communication systems while effectively suppressing the interference signals.

Speaker Biography

Dr. Huang Yong received his Ph.D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. He is the founder and General Manager of Suzhou Bohai Microsystems Co., Ltd. He has long been engaged in research and development in the fields of phased arrays and integrated microwave microsystems.
